Formed in 2007, Life Environmental Services is the consultancy division of Lexia Solutions Group, comprising four specialist companies – Envacs Data Ltd, Crossways, Crossways Labs and Blues Consultants. Together, Life provides a range of services that includes specialist asbestos management software, asbestos surveys, project management, sampling, risk assessment, air monitoring, training and related consultancy services. Life serves commercial, domestic, industrial and retail clients and along with other parts of the group, can deliver a quality efficient service in a variety of challenging environments.

History
Life Environmental Services was acquired in July 2007 by the Lexia Solutions Group which together with the group’s sister companies makes it one of the UK’s leading environmental solutions groups for all aspects of asbestos abatement, demolition, project management, training, consultancy, property reinstatement and land remediation work.

The acquisition of Life Environmental Services, will takes the Lexia Solutions Group’s annual turnover to £50 million and will increase staff numbers to 475. Life Environmental Services and its four specialist environmental solutions companies will also add new and diverse capabilities to Lexia.

At the time of the acquisition on the 17th of July 2007, Jason Davy, managing director of Lexia Solutions Group, said: “Today’s acquisitions present a significant and exciting new chapter in our growth. Working with an industry leader like Life Environmental Services and its four subsidiaries will enable the group to provide a first class, one-stop-shop range of solutions in a variety of challenging environments.

“The management teams within these companies will remain unchanged and will continue to be operated under the same brands. The only change will be that their customers will now be able to benefit from the additional range of services and products available through the Lexia Solutions Group.”
